I can help you navigate your challenges and work towards your goals

Hello, and welcome.

I work one-to-one with adults and young people aged 16 and over, supporting a wide range of issues (see below), offering a personalised, practical, and down-to-earth approach.

Sessions are guided by your individual needs, preferences, and pace, within a warm, non-judgmental, affirming, and confidential space. My aim is for you to feel supported, respected, and genuinely heard, so you leave sessions feeling it is a helpful and worthwhile thing to do.

Whilst we are likely to unpack and explore what feels difficult and challenging. We can also work to recognise your strengths, build on what’s already working, and stay connected to who and what truly matters to you.

Develop deeper insight and understanding that can open the door to new behaviours, greater choice, and better ways of relating to yourself and others—while building confidence, gaining clarity, and a stronger sense of control.

Working together

I bring genuine care, curiosity, and understanding into each session, which may include gentle challenge, honest perspective, and practical encouragement. As we work to untangle issues, clarify goals, recognise strengths, bolster resilience, and respond to challenges more flexibly.

Given most circumstances or situations, I believe we all have internal and external resources, strengths, potential, and the "solutions" to most of our "problems" — not just addressing what feels "wrong"— it’s also about recognising what’s “right” within you.

Effective change,
driven by you

Research indicates that clients—not therapists—drive therapeutic change. Therefore, understanding and aligning with your needs, goals, and preferences—rather than imposing a rigid approach—can help shape a process that works for you.

I work with an openness to many approaches on the fundamental premise that every client is unique and may require different things at different times.

Clients who engage in this way often experience better outcomes, higher satisfaction, and lower dropout rates.

Taking the first step

Starting therapy can feel like a big step—but it’s often one that brings a sense of relief and renewed clarity. This mindful, wellbeing activity is a great opportunity to unpack what's going on for you, and pause, reflect, and work things through in a space that’s just for you.

A strong client-counsellor relationship is widely recognised as one of the more helpful aspects of ANY effective therapy. With this in mind, I prioritise building trust and connection with you from the outset. And as a collaborative effort—one that thrives on openness, willingness, engagement, and personal agency.

Let's work on your goals together
